The National Institute for Robotics and technology participated in the First Lego League Competition winning the First-Place Award in mechanical design, and the Second-Place in Robot Performance.
Where HRH Prince Hamza crowned the winning teams in the competition, which was held in Amman-Jordan from April 5 to 7.
NIRT’s teams, consisting of 10 students aged between 15 and 16 years old, has been working on their project for the past seven months with the help of two trainers. Held under the theme of “Into Orbit”, this year’s ARC required participants to solve a real-world problem through a hydrodynamic project, as well as to build, test, and program an autonomous robot to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game.
